Recently, GACON Ltd Supply Chain Team visited the company’s Hibiscus Flower and Cassia Tora Pilot Farms in Dambatta LGA. The mission was to inspect the progress on our Pilot Farms towards sustainable farming/sourcing initiatives. The trip also served as a practical training session for our Trainee Agricultural Extension Officer on “Working with local communities to understand their needs & challenges” and “learning different methods of delivering extension services effectively”.

During the inspection, we were excited to also witness the growth of the Hibiscus Flower Farms of members of our Farmers Cooperative Societies, while introducing our Trainee extension officer to them.
Not only are we investing in our Farmers through farm input supports, but we’re also partnering with these local farmers to empower rural communities by offering training on sustainable farming practices.
