Entrepreneur lauds FG’s incentives for non-oil sector

Celebrating GACON LTD’s 25 Years of Innovation and Sustainability!
HRM Adaku Chidume-Okoro, Group Managing Director of Gum Arabic Company Nigeria Ltd. (GACON), praised the Federal Government for its support of the Non-Oil sector through tax exemptions and expansion grants during GACON’s 25th Anniversary Celebration in Lagos. She highlighted the importance of government incentives in encouraging Non-Oil exports and urged for continued support. Mrs. Adaku Chidume-Okoro emphasized the challenges of bad roads affecting supply chains and encouraged aspiring exporters to persevere.
In 2010, she was recognized as “Woman Exporter of the Year 2010” for her contributions to Non-Oil exports. GACON specializes in the processing and export of agricultural Commodities, Herbs, Botanicals and spices such as Ginger, Turmeric, Hibiscus Flower, Gum Arabic, Chili Pepper, and Kolanuts.
