GACON Ltd is at it again…… Helping the indigent, downtrodden & BOP Farmers to make a steady & regular income, by bringing wealth to their door steps.

GACON Ltd partnering with USAID was able to lift well over 3600 women Farmers out of poverty in Southern Kaduna, through formation of 36 Ginger Farmers Co-operatives & still counting. Today, these Farmers have become the down line raw material supply source for GACON Ltd’s Export Ginger processing Factory in Kano.
With the above success story, GACON Ltd is replicating & expanding her vision of improving the livelihood of women in Kano through the formation of 50 women Cooperative Associations made up of 1,000 women farmers across five Local Government Areas of Kano state for Hibiscus Flower & Cassia Tora seeds aggregation. It’s targeted that these women Farmers will form the sustainable raw materials supply source for Gacon Ltd’s upcoming Cassia Tora seeds processing plant. This invariably is an empowerment like no other in the lives of the less privileged. GACON Ltd is set to purchase Hibiscus Flower and Cassia Tora Seeds from these Women Cooperative Farmers at prices 10% higher than prices paid to them by middle men, while supporting them with inputs, micro credits, training and extension services!
